Show Team is a tool for show-livestock families to manage their animals. We built it to keep your records and your family's information private and under your control. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have.
This service is operated by Show Team ("Show Team", "we", "us"). You can reach us about anything in this policy at support@showteam.app.
When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (your password is handled by our authentication provider and is never visible to us). You may also provide your name and role within a team.
Show Team stores the information you choose to put into it, which may include: animals and their identifiers, weigh-ins, feed programs and supplements, tasks, hair & hide and scorecard evaluations, shows and results, health and medication logs, expenses and income, notes, project/record-book details, and photos and videos you upload.
If you invite family members, advisors, or helpers, we store the email addresses and roles you assign so they can access the animals you share with them. People you invite become part of your team's shared records.
If you turn on push notifications, we store the technical subscription details your browser or device provides (and your time-zone offset, so we can respect your quiet hours). You can turn this off at any time.
Like any online service, our infrastructure providers process standard technical data needed to deliver the app securely and reliably (for example, network requests and error logs). We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We use a small number of trusted companies to run the service. They process data only to provide their service to us:

Our systems are hosted in the United States. If you use the app from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States.
No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability). Contact us and we'll help you exercise them.
Show Team supports youth livestock programs such as 4-H and FFA, but accounts are intended to be created and managed by parents, guardians, or adult leaders. The app is not directed to children under 13 for independent sign-up, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without the involvement of a parent, guardian, or responsible adult who controls the account. If you believe a child provided us information without that involvement, contact us and we'll remove it.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete the associated records and media, except where we're required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected here. Your continued use of Show Team after an update means you accept the revised policy.
